2025 has been a challenging year, but it's been made so much better with the response we've had since opening Harradine's Country. Whilst it's still early days, we can see there is a real appetite for British-made, high-quality, timeless country style by independent British brands. As we hurtle towards 2026, I wanted to give you a feel for what is to come.
More In-Person Shopping
One thing that's worked really well for us has been in-person markets, fairs, and pop-ups. The reception we received at the Audley Inglewood Christmas Fair was fantastic, and we want to give our customers and the local community even more opportunities to shop with us in-person as we head into 2026.
We're Looking for Local Markets Near Newbury
So, if you have or know of a market in or around Newbury, West Berkshire, that would be suitable for us, we'd love to hear from you. For now, we're looking for indoor or covered markets, but hopefully we'll be able to source our own marquee in time for the summer. Simply contact us here and we'll get back to you asap. Thank you!
More British-Made Pieces
We opened Harradine's Country with a commitment to stocking a minimum of 50% British-made products. I'm really proud to say we've kept that commitment, and now it's time to take the next step towards being a 100% British-made retailer by 2030.
In 2026, I will increase the proportion of British-made pieces in our collection. I'm committing to 60% British-made by the end of 2026.
As usual, all our British-made pieces will display a "Made in the UK" badge, and have their own collection on our website. You'll be able to shop even more British-made country style products with confidence over the next 12 months.

I am also planning to expand our product collection over the next 12 months. I've got a few things in mind, but I'm always interested in hearing from customers about what you want to see in our shop.
Plus, some of our most popular products will be restocked from January, so you will be able to shop your favourite pieces once again! In the meantime, you can sign up for restock alerts via the product page for any out-of-stock product, so you'll be the first to know when it's available to purchase.

I'm on the lookout for brands that wish to join us in 2026. You must be an independent British business, and preferably some of your products will be made in the UK. We have limited space for non-UK manufactured products, but our focus is on finding truly British-made pieces our customers will love.
Please complete our brand application form to register your interest. Please note that we cannot accommodate every brand - our stocking decisions are based on a range of factors, including brand fit, our customer needs, and logistics.
British Country Style for Spring and Summer
The cold, dark evenings won't last forever! Soon enough, winter will give way to spring and summer, and we'll be reaching for lighter layers and cooler fabrics. So, I'll be on the lookout for spring or summer country style pieces that will fit right into our collection.
Expansion of Our Influencer Programme
Finally, I will be giving more attention to our influencer programme. I opened a pilot programme in the autumn, but admittedly with Christmas hurtling down the track I haven't given it enough of my time. So, I'll be looking into how I can expand and improve our influencer programme in 2026.
