The Story Behind Harradine's Country

Born from a Love of British Craftsmanship

Harradine’s Country began with a simple idea: shopping small and British should be easy and transparent. I wanted to know whether a piece was British-designed or British-made, what materials were used, and how it was produced. When I couldn’t find those answers easily, I decided to build a business that did things differently.

A Different Way to Shop: Buy Less, Buy Better

I’ve don't believe in fast fashion. I’d rather own fewer, better things - clothes that last, that feel lovely to wear, and that never go out of style. Harradine’s Country is built on that belief: timeless, wearable pieces that earn their place in your wardrobe year after year.

I’ve always wanted style to feel easy, not fussy or overthought. The pieces I curate are designed to move with you, from countryside walks to lunch with friends, or from work to the weekend. They’re simple, versatile, and quietly elegant. This collection is made to fit real life, not a trend cycle.

Championing Independent British Brands

Before founding Harradine’s Country, I worked in marketing with small British businesses. I saw first-hand the passion and craftsmanship that go into what they create - and how hard it can be for them to be seen. This shop is my way of giving them the spotlight they deserve, so that independent doesn’t have to mean invisible.

Inspired by British Roots

Inspired by the Back British Farming movement - and yes, by Clarkson’s Farm too - I wanted to do my but to support British farming, manufacturing, and enterprise. I may not come from a fashion background, but I’m learning every day, championing the makers, and building a brand that feels real: honest, grounded, and proudly British.

Which Brands & Products I Stock, and Why

Harradine's Country will only stock independent British brands. Some will be well-known and established brands in the rural style space, whilst many more will be small, new businesses run by solo makers and designers.

However, I want to go further. From the day we launched, at least 50% of the lines stocked in Harradine's Country have been made right here in the UK. Every British-made product we stock is clearly labelled, so you can shop with confidence and discover beautiful, quality, British-made products with ease. Simply look for the "Made in the UK" badge!

Every piece in our store is thoughtfully chosen — for quality, comfort, and timeless design. We focus on neutral tones, natural fibres, and effortless wardrobe staples you’ll reach for again and again.
